Prospect house is a private house with room for up to six young people, you have your own room and the access to many activities that we hope you enjoy such as; sky TV, play station, computer and a games room that you can use with the staff and the other young people.
We keep the house looking nice and expect you to do the same; we try to keep up a nice friendly, homely environment. We hope that you enjoy it here and use this as an opportunity to look at any problems you may have. To help you with this we use a key-working system, this means that one member of the staff team will be identified to work very closely with you.
Each young person‘s stay will be different due to the nature of your needs. We want you to like it here, so we have outlined some of the areas that you may have questions about. If you still have unanswered questions or there is something you don't understand, then do not hesitate to talk to any member of staff. Wherever possible they will do all they can to help you?
Confidentiality
The background of every young person that comes to live at Prospect House is completely confidential. This means that it will only be staff members that know anything about you, your past and your current situation. The only person who has the right to tell others why you are here is you - for this reason we keep your personal files locked away in the office. All day to day issues around your privacy and confidentiality arrangements will be discussed during induction with your key worker.
